Welcome back! I hope that everyone had a wonderful break and enjoyed special time with friends and family. Time away from our everyday tasks can be remarkably restorative. It has been great to see our students and staff return to school with a renewed enthusiasm!
The start of a new year provides an ideal time to reflect on where DePaul has been and where we are heading. As we continue to ground ourselves in our mission to carry out the legacy of St. Vincent de Paul, I also look forward with excitement to the future. When I began as principal of DePaul–19 months ago this month–it was my goal to build on our tremendous mission to make DePaul the world-class school our students, families, and staff deserve. Throughout this second half of the year, we will focus specifically on 4 push areas: trust, transparency, joy and student ownership. Look for more to come on these push areas in the weeks ahead, as our staff is truly invested in each push!
As we move through Trimester 2, I appreciate your support with maintaining high expectations for all students. To help keep us all organized, key dates and important reminders are below.
If you have any questions, feedback or concerns, please reach out to me directly or use one of the links below to schedule a time for us to chat. Your feedback is important to me, I love to hear from all of you!
Thank you for all you do,

Welcome, Ms. Mears!
Please join me in welcoming Ms. Mears to the DePaul family. Ms. Mears has joined our middle school team and will be teaching science, along with a 7th grade homeroom. We are thrilled to have Ms. Mears on our team and look forward to our families getting to know her as well. Stay tuned for a welcome letter from Ms. Mears in the days to come.
