Principal’s Message

Dear Friends of DePaul:

Each morning, our 450 young scholars recite our mission. With a new school year upon us, let us recommit to the mission of the DePaul Catholic School:

We are the scholars of DePaul Catholic School. As the only Catholic school in Germantown, we proudly continue the legacy of the educators and alumni of those schools who will always be part of us: St. Francis of Assisi, St. Vincent de Paul, St. Madeleine Sophie, Immaculate Conception, and St. Martin de Porres.

We are innovative and empowered. Our students, through their brilliance, creativity and goodness, will bring positive change to our world. We work to instill the skills and confidence they need to achieve their dreams.

We learn, we lead and we serve.  We ask students to take ownership of their learning. We teach them the importance of gratitude and generosity.

By doing so, we honor St. Vincent DePaul and build God’s loving family. This year marks the 400th year since our patron saint, St. Vincent de Paul, began his mission to love and serve others, and in doing so, to love and serve God. We will continue to strengthen relationships among our teachers, students, parents, staff, families and alumni.

On behalf of our faculty and staff, thank you for the confidence you place in us. We look forward to working with you in the year ahead to continue to build God’s family.

With pride and affection,

Mrs. Katie Reilly Wardlow
